RedRobot K.K. (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains how we handle personal information collected on redrobot.jp and related contact channels.

Information we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect what you send us: name, organization, email, message, interest category, and language preference. Forms may go through Formspree or another processor; messages arrive at [email protected].

We may also collect standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for hosting and security.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential: we store your cookie choice (localStorage) and may use cookies required for security or basic site operation.

Privacy-friendly analytics (when configured): tools like Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible for aggregated page stats, no advertising profiles. In a cookieless setup these don’t need a marketing opt-in.

Analytics after you accept: if you allow analytics, we may load Google Analytics 4 (gtag), Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replay with form fields masked), and/or PostHog (product analytics, optional recording with inputs masked). We don’t load ad pixels unless you accept marketing and we turn them on.

How we use information

We use contact messages to reply, consider build or partnership requests, and improve our services.

We use analytics (with consent where required) to see which pages help visitors, fix usability issues, and improve content, not to sell personal information.

We do not sell personal information.

Vendors and international transfer

Depending on setup, processing may involve Cloudflare, Plausible, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, and Formspree or similar. Those providers may process data in Japan, the EU, the US, or other regions under their terms and applicable safeguards.

Retention and security

We keep contact records only as long as needed for correspondence and legitimate business records, then delete or anonymize them.

Analytics data follows each vendor’s settings and our operational need; we prefer short retention for session replay.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest.

Your choices and rights

You can reject non-essential analytics and still use the site. Where law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out, contact us via the form or the address on the Legal page.
